Bringing up the constitutional problems associated with the Slaughter House Rule.
Man, this is chaotic and they don’t have a clue what is going on with this process.
I heard a lady, retired lawyer from NV, call in to Rush yesterday afternoon. Was saying something about differences in specific vs. general sections of the Constitution, and that at any time, 20% of the members of the House could require a roll call yea or nay vote and that the specific language of that section would be more powerful and stand up against any court ruling vs. the section that was much more general in language that they are trying to use and get around with the Slaughter rule . . . then I had to stop and run in the bank and didn’t hear the rest of their conversation.
