One source who has been close to the proceedings says one thing is certain: “there is so much confusion.”

Confusion my...er, derriere.
IOW, 'Rats are lying through their teeth to each other and the nation.
If Stupak is still a NO, as reported by CNN, Pelosi just lost him for good. And any commitment (e.g. Brian Baird) gotten from someone based on the Supak rumor would be overturned almost for sure.
BTW, I cannot imagine that Congressman Stupak would go against the Catholic Bishops, who made their hard position known last night.
