Can’t do it, if the Senate bill is not passed word for word, it has to go back to the Senate. It cannot go to the President unless NO CHANGES ARE MADE.

You are absolutely right gidget7. A constitutional case relating to the enrollment of two bills was decided in 1995, I believe.

The writer of that opinion? John Paul Stevens

The way things are going now, they could just change whatever language they wanted, and then simply deem the language changes as original language.

Yes, theirs is a much more convenient way to govern.

Ok. What is a ‘tie bar’ measure that allows only 51 votes to pass.

The article says it will go back to the Senate with this ‘tie bar’ measure.

Oh, they’ll find a way around that, no problem, and any other of that Constitutional junk and legal inconveniences that crop up.

Its an amendment that says to the senate, you have to do this or... what ever. Its not what they will be voting on on Sunday assuming they vote. They will vote on that amendment after that. That being said. I hold no hope for this situation at all. Despair is all I know.

This is a Tragedy for freedom. There it goes folks... the last beacon of hope on earth dies.....

This is going into the concurrent resolution - which means they are going to try the "Slaughter Rule" ...
