I'm not in disagreement with you on the notion of our Congressmen selling us out, but I don't think there will be a change in the language. Here's why:

Pelosi knows that she can't make too many changes to the bill because the ticked off USSC will come crashing down on her with a 5-4 decision, especially after that torch and pitchfork charade at the SOTU.

Ron Kind will go wherever DeFazio goes. Both have Medicare as their top beef with the bill.

Ron Kind is just trying to get on the news - he will never be a no vote and Pelosi knows it - she probably told him to get lost or no DNC funding for his run against Kapanke here in WI. Kind will need the help from the DNC. Even with their support I think Kapanke will beat him.

Retirement could not happen to a nicer guy - Kind is a moron......He likes to sound moderate when he needs to but he is a card carrying progressive.
