Scientists don't have a monopoly on defining terms like creationist and creationism.
They don't have a corner on the definition market for every aspect of life simply because they are scientists. That falls outside the realm of scientific endeavor and cannot be addressed in a scientific manner.

—The point of my post was to point out how the word is used by virtually all creationists and evolutionists alike - which in a discussion of the meaning of a term and how it’s to be understood - is everything.

—No one’s claiming that scientists get to define creationist or creationism. As I said in my previous post, I’m using the term the same way as every Creationist organization I can find. Every Creationist organization I know of uses the term to mean one who believes God created life AND is opposed to evolution.
