Seems to me that Bush had contractors in southern Iraq almost immediately to return the river to its natural state in that area.

None of the backroom deals yet has ticked me off as much as this one. Either it was environmentally responsible to save the lil fishes or it wasn’t. It had to be vital to turn off water to some of the most productive soil on Earth. Well, we all know it wasn’t. But they destroyed farms and orchards, farmers and workers - all with the assent of Feinstein/Boxer and these Congresscrooks.
That is the most frightening thought.
Votes are being bought as we speak...that is why some Dems. are holding out saying they may vote against it...if they are holding out it is for $$$$$ cause they know it’s going to hit the fan and they will have to run or face Obama’s wrath and destruction if they cross him. YOU KNOW some are being threatened. This is horrible..just horrible.
