Though I am not fully aware of the situation, I came across a TV interview a few days ago. The interviewer said to an organizer of the Boston St. Patty's Day parade “You refused to allow gays to march...” The organizer then said, with a conspicuous smile, something like “I don't know if they marched or not...” Meaning, marching with a gay banner wasn't going to be allowed but there may have been gays in the parade.

Same thing happened in Denver years ago & the Irish cancelled the parade. They didn’t try to get in on the Mexican Cinco De Mayo parade. They would of been beat up.
