While it’s no surprise that the UN is ineffective, in all fairness, why is it these animals can’t manage themselves? Is every incident just an excuse to revert to barbarism? Why is it always someone else’s job to force these savages to behave like human beings? Someone else has to feed them, clothe them, educate them, heal them, protect them, and rebuild their squalid cesspool every time it falls in. When do the beneficiaries take up their own cause instead of whining to the world to help them out?

My compassion is just about exhausted for people still living on the forest’s edge after a thousand years.
