USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), U.S. 7th Fleet flagship, arrived in Chinhae Mar.12 to continue participating in combined forces Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2010.

Blue Ridge departed Busan, Republic of Korea, carrying 7th Fleet staff Sailors, Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team, 1st Company Marines, Republic of Korea (ROK) service members, and many other participants in the exercise. The move to Chinhae adds realism to the exercise and allows the participants to work together from a different operational vantage point.

"In addition to allowing our Sailors to see more of Korea," said Blue Ridge Commanding Officer Capt. Rudy Lupton. "Being in Chinhae allows Blue Ridge and participating members of the exercise to push forward in experiencing ROK-US interoperability and capabilities; including how that interoperability comes into play out to sea."

Combined forces Exercise Key Resolve/ Foal Eagle 2010 is an annual exercise designed to build upon the Republic of Korea's defensive capabilities. Approximately 18,000 U.S. troops are involved in the exercise, which runs from Mar. 8 through Mar. 18.

Blue Ridge serves under Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 7/Task Force 76, the Navy's only forward-deployed amphibious force. Blue Ridge is the flagship for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet. Task Force 76 is headquartered at White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan, with an operating detachment in Sasebo, Japan.

Ah yes, memories of a gloriously spent youth....
The young ladies are a little ‘heftier’ than I recall and did you check out the name of the establishment????

Him-a-laya

So that makes the outdoor ‘bait’ all the more appropriate.

Fleet’s In! ALL prices will rise accordingly and the nearby stationed troops will eagerly await the Ships departure so the prices will return to a normally low status.

My gloriously mis-spent youth was wasted elsewhere.
I only associated with true ladies, most of whom seemed to be named Dang, Lek, or Noi.

Ah, the memories keep building...
Used to keep a big smile and say, I am so young, there are so many ladies and oh I just wish a little more time....
I love you very much short time....ah.....
...That one young lady posing for the camera is surely more hefty than anyone I met in that ‘corner of the world’ (Western Pacific including SE Asia) in the 50/60’s ....
