Congressman Steve King of Iowa has applied for a permit to hold a massive rally at the Capitol on Saturday, 3-21-10 at 12 Noon. We need to get in our cars, trucks, grab a bus, train, plane, and get to Washington...WE MUST GET OFF OUR BEHINDS AND STAND UP EN MASSE AND BLOCK ALL TRAFFIC FROM COMING IN OR GOING OUT OF WASHINGTON. King said he was inspired by the August, 1968 uprising in Czechoslovakia when the people came together in huge numbers, arm in arm, and stood their ground against the communists in their government. It was a peaceful demonstration. And the communists capitulated. We are about to lose our country to the communists, and WHAT ARE WE DOING TO SHOW OUR DISGUST AND REFUSAL TO GIVE IN TO THEM? The Czechs knew what to do. What the hell are the citizens of the United States doing to protect and retain the Constitution? Let us get off our complacent behinds, turn off the TV, put away any other distractions and VOW TO SAVE THIS COUNTRY. SEE YOU ON SATURDAY, MARCH 20, 12 noon. There’s nothing on King’s web site that indicates a rally being held (or nothing obvious, at least). Perhaps he’s had second thoughts?
