I just couldn't sign the petition this year since I was worried it would be another futile campaign. I have doubts that an election campaign is the best venue to try to change hearts and minds, and that the Supreme Court won't do something worse than Roe if it rules against this law.

However, I am grateful for the work people are putting in. I saw three or four petition gatherers outside my caucus on Tuesday.

Where are the details about why the petitions were invalidated? I know most notaries were not informed about a law change and so took down an erroneous form of identification ("A person known to me.")

Lots of worries about legal tricks.
