Hannity had on a young black liberal woman from Maryland and he just couldn’t convince her of the economic and liberty-destroying insanity of this health care bill. Seems the ‘plantation blacks’’ i.e, the ones who listen to the poverty pimps like Sharpton and Jackson have no real concept or concern about the intrusion and loss of liberty of and by big government as long as it’s cool for them.
I was shocked to get in a heated debate with one of my Russian colleagues yesterday about Health Care. He left Russia in 1994 at age 26 to come to America. He suggested free health care and education were great things under communism and that America had the wealth to treat health as a liberty. He loves Obama.

I think there is a certain segment of the population to whom the concept of liberty is virtually unimportant. They do not want to be independent, expect to be taken care of by the government, and voted for Obama because they envisioned he would free up money for them. They do not mind waiting in long lines or in hospitals. They call ambulances to take them to hospitals for head colds and charge it all to Medicaid. IT is almost pointless to try to convince liberals, particularly those who are in racial minorities to understand the evils of socialism. They have for too long been the recipients of government largesse and have no wish to curtail it.
