Congressional Hispanics announce support for health-care bill
Washington Post ^ | 03/18/10 | Paul Kane

Allaying a lingering concern about immigration issues in the health-care battle, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus announced its unanimous support for President Obama's key domestic agenda initiative.

The decision knocks down another potential roadblock to reaching the necessary 216 votes for final passage, setting up abortion as the key issue remaining (outside of steep political concerns about the bill's impact on the midterm elections).

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) and several other CHC members had been threatening to withhold their support because of provisions the Senate added restricting illegal immigrants from using their own money to access the insurance exchanges that would be established by the proposed legislation.

However, Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-N.Y.), with more than 20 CHC members behind her, told reporters the broader impact of the legislation overrode the other concerns. She said 8.8 million Latinos would gain insurance coverage in the legislation, a "historic opportunity" not to be missed.

8.8 Million illegals. Why is no one talking about this provision?

Ohhhhhh, lots of thangs Ayatollah Obama could bribe the hispanic caucus with. Complete Amnesty, no questions asked, welcome to America, go sign up for social security and all our welfare programs and get busy making demands on this country it can’t meet, so we can get our communist state sooner.

Unlike most immigrant groups over our long history the Hispanics appear to be unafraid to totally anger everybody else.

It's the beer ~ stuff in there that's not good for them.

People who can't hold their own drinking Tecate, for example, probably should be sent back home as soon as possible.

Luis Guiterrez, who used to march with the FALN terrorists and wave the Soviet flag and whose name has surfaced in a political corruption trial involving a Chicago alderman who accepted bribes in the form of thousands of dollars in home remodeling improvements from a building developer, has been reassured the once Obama pushes for amnesty for millions of illegals they will be eligible for taxpayer subsidized health care too.

"Allaying a lingering concern" my left foot !

How about "Exacerbating an overwhelming national concern" that illegal parasites will reap yet another huge windfall of costly, unearned benefits while flipping off real Americans, the Congressional Racist Latrino Caucus gladly supported Obama's plan to take over another American industry.

They’d sure be better off going to the emergency rooms for treatment which is what they do now.

It’s amazes me how anyone not Hispanic can vote for an Hispanic politician when you know damn good and well he’s more than likely to put illegal Mexican immigrants ahead of the U.S. That ain’t racist. That’s a fact.

The barbarians are already inside the gate. This is Rome 409 just before the sack. And they fell because the Emperors and citizenry had become morally corrupt. The only way to stop history from repeating itself in this country, dead in its tracks, is for a new conservative leader to inspire the masses, and turn back this tide of madness. We need one now before it’s too late. And the new religion after America falls will NOT be Christianity.

Rally your local talk radio host into doing street protest in front of your reps local offices. Try and get the local media to cover it.

This is from a 2007 contact list of congressional aides. Some might not be there any longer, but worth a try. The ones on the one post are senate aides, a few have bounced back, it’s worth the effort to clog up their email system along with the phones, and 1/3rd of these senators are up for re-election.

Mail must be inspected for anthrax.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

Congressional Dems on Twitter

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!
