If I were the president, I’d take this one of two ways. Either the e-mailer is making fun of Congress and it’s cushy benefits, or the e-mailer is a money-grubbing ignoramous who needs to be informed as to why granting Congress’ deal to the entire nation would be entirely unworkable. I certainly wouldn’t say that he has a good point.

Aside from the fact that saying "one sixth of our economy is a drag on the economy" is stupid, where will the thousands upon thousands of professional people who drive this 1/6th of our economy work when it is "fixed"?
I watched as much of this as I could stand. Obama is truly a ZERO. God save the Republic!
He was terrible. Obama never gave a straight answer. Constantly talked over Brett, the only time Brett interrupted was to ask another question. He was very polite about it. Obama whined about inheriting a mess, but, that wasn’t the question asked. And he talked about Hawaii having an earthquake and that’s why they were getting special treatment on the healthcare bill. WHAT EARTHQUAKE??? The only large earthquake I could find was from 2006, 6.6, come on, any excuse to pay off people.
I thought Brett did a great job, he had the information and Baier made Obama look uninformed about this bill he is trying so hard to push.

Whole idea is get it passed and build on it in the out years, so why should Obama trouble himself with the details? But that can make you look foolish under questioning on national TV and that's how he looked
I was wondering about the interview because Bret has such a sweet disposition and does a fair job moderating panels. He really surprised me on this one. Great job, Bret!!!!

I thought Bret did great. I use to not like Charles K. but he has grown on me over the years.
Bret did much better than O’Reilly did during the campaign by LEAPS & BOUNDS.
