Oh, Target only beats Walmart on sales or niche products. On the dog food, they are more expensive on the same size bag for adult dogs, but only Target has the 20# bag for puppy food, so they get my purchase. But on my staples, Walmart beats them consistently on day to day prices.
I was just in WM for an unrelated purchase and I checked their prices on diapers, TP, etc. My local Target has them beat, but only because of the coupons Target sends me. I can double-up - use Target plus manufacturer's coupons - and save a bundle. :-)
