Liberals Five Favorite Republicans
Democrats have broken up with the Olympia Snowes and Christie Whitmans of old. But even in this polarized political moment, there are five Republicans they have learned to love.

In today's hyperpartisan political climate, liberalsespecially far-left progressiveshave turned on the more moderate conservatives they once loved. Christie Whitman? A failure as chief of the Environmental Protection Agency. Olympia Snowe? A lost cause and waste of time in the health-care-reform fight. Arlen Specter? Well, now he's a Democrat, and not the base's favorite one. You don't see the Democratic leadership praising them anymore, let alone the New York Times op-ed page.
But a new generation of Republicans has emerged as darlings of the left. Their defining characteristic is not necessarily moderate political views, but either a willingness to cross the aisle on certain issues (in contravention of their base) or a willingness to engage on the hard substance of policy. Here is a list of the five conservatives even a liberal can love.

What? Newsweek is up to something with this story but I’m not sure what. Maybe trying to divide and conquer. After all they are a arm of the dimoKKKRAT party.
“But even in this polarized political moment, there are five Republicans they have learned to love.”
Liberals don’t love. They just hate less.
I counted 4 RINOs and 1 guy (Ryan) who might be worthy of investigation to see if he is actually conservative.
Look at them, I don’t know about the Paul Ryan fellow but the rest of them are Romney types aren’t they, (although not as bad as him of course).
Only 5?
Surprised to see Ryan, SHOCKED not to see Lindsey.
SHOCKED not to see Lindsey.

Don’t forget, he was the point man during the Clinton impeachment, when he was a Congressman.
Once he got to the Senate he sure did a 180.
Newsweek is calling Paul Ryan a RINOs to hurt him with his base in Nov.
This story can't hurt Brown he just got elected. Huntsman's not elected. Daniels is not up for reelection until 2012. Crist is gonna be gone in Jan. This is just another nail in the coffin.
