This morning RedState.com editor Erick Erickson announced that he is joining CNN as a political contributor.
I remember when this guy was starting up and pimping his blog on FR, wasn’t that long ago....
The after-birther
Wasn’t he the “conservative” who told everyone to STFU about Dumbo’s birth cert?
He’ll last about as long as snowball in the deep hot place. They chew up and spit out anyone who isn’t a lefty like they are.
He’s also an anti-Palinite.
He pretty much fits into the David Brooks-David Frum wing of “conservatism”.
A good little establishmentarian Rebublican.
Anyone can say whatever they want about Obama. No one is denying anyone the right to be a Birther. Just don't identify as a Conservative or member of the GOP. Being associated with the Birther movement is about as toxic as being a 9/11 truther. Once you go there, you are not taken seriously again.
Didn’t like his aloof smugness then, have his websites blocked by IP filter now.
This man truly means Red State.
He has so little grasp on historic and classical conservatism rather than name his blog some variation of the centuries old Blue color to represent conservatives, he went with a meme purposely developed by socialists in the msm to remove the Red=Commie connectoin during that election cycle.
He is a Statist, with a capital S, with manufactured positioning statements which might or might not coincide with conservative philosophy and oratory, but he himself has seen political commentary as a catapult to stardom and a ticket to join the beautiful people for at least the last 3 years.
He’s got his wish, expect him to implode Charles Johnson LGF-style on international TV in the coming year.
He’s a lie-bertarian: supports Rand Paul, who is a ditto of his Dad.
The political version of...what shall I call it...a house "person of servitude."
