They do not care about near-term electoral disaster. Universal health care is the reason most of these liberals went into politics in the first place. They figure that by 2013 too many people will be dependent on the new entitlement, that it will never be repealed, and they will have succeeded in turning America into a European-style socialist nation.

That’s true but the the political lynchings that will follow electoral disaster is what they need to fear and have no clue about. They will never be able to enjoy the fruits of their corruption and they will pray for death as we will make their lives a living hell.
I've been thinking that too but Commie-Care doesn't kick in until 2013 though the taxes kick in immediately. So how will the populace be dependent on it?
They do care about electoral disaster. I know that Obama, Pelosi and Reid only are about getting their socialist agenda through but most Democrats when they get to Washington DC want to stay in Washington DC.
