AOL News (March 16) -- This time, it's partisan. About a month after a billboard of former President George W. Bush with the question "Miss Me Yet?" was spotted beside a Minnesota highway, a similarly mysterious billboard has appeared in the state.
This one features Ronald Reagan, and, unlike the original billboard, the message is unmistakably conservative: "Remember Real Hope and Change?" the sign asks, openly mocking President Barack Obama's campaign slogan.

Unless he get’s into Pelosi’s botox stash (if he isn’t there already, I’m sure they have a lot in common).
Why are his eyes always so bloodshot? The guy really needs a cup of coffee. :->
Why Vote For Romney: Supports Mandatory Health Insurance Why Vote For Romney: Supports Mandatory Health Insurance Many Americans want mandatory health insurance. Mitt Romney was the leader, being the first in the nation to introduce mandatory health care. Thanks to Mitt Romneys generosity. 80% of Massachussetts residents are now insured, and the other 20% are receiving health insurance while serving there jail terms for failure to buy insurance.
Note the picture...
That would be sinful...
Generosity with other people's money - the true hallmark of a liberal.
Great post, MK!!
Thanks to Mitt Romneys generosity. 80% of Massachussetts residents are now insured, and the other 20% are receiving health insurance while serving there jail terms for failure to buy insurance.LOL!
Scram. Go outside and play.
Typical Romney supporter. Believes she's the "grownup" and that Americans are children in need of nanny-state government overseen by the likes of Daddy's-Home-Romney. She believes that anyone who disagrees with her is like a child.
Beware -- that is the mindset of those who would accompany Romney in places of power. God protect the Republican party from such condescending "leadership." Americans are not children, and I SPIT on any Republican or his/her supporters who would regard us as such.
To quote a fine American hero: Piss on Romney.
Very well said.
You rant just to rant.
Find someone else.
You don't know what a "rant" is. And indeed, I am calling YOU out, not "someone else," because you are ASKING FOR IT. To wit: Why don't you start defending Romney instead of telling us what "children" we are for not adoring him?
PLEASE tell us why we shouldn't reject him. PLEASE defend your hero and stop treating fellow FReepers as if they were children. Please start talking about ROMNEY, and stop talking about fellow FReepers.
You know what I think? I think you're deliberately TRYING to get knocked off of Free Republic so that you can self-righteously cry that it was ONLY your pro-Romney position that got you booted off. The truth is that you are rude, ugly, condescending, and snotty. The "Lady" in your handle should get you a swift kick in the ass because you are NO lady. You lie to yourself. And you NEVER actually defend Romney -- you just go off on rants against people who oppose him and who list their reasons for opposing him.
COME ON, dear. What have you got? Anything but insults? Can you DEFEND Romney and tell me why I shouldn't oppose him? You might say he's a good businessman -- somebody else points out that in America, good businessmen are plentiful and Romney is nothing special, and it is the truth. You might say he's a "good family man," and someone else points out that Jimmy Carter was, too, and it is the truth.
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, stop telling us what's wrong with us, and start telling us what's NOT wrong with Romney.
Come on, Nanny GOP-Gal -- do it! Skin that smokewagon and watch what happens.
Your internal Conservative Woman is in conflict with your external giddy school girl Mitt crush.
It is effecting your mental well being.
If you would bother to check my posting history, you would see (quiet easily I might add) that I am one of the biggest opponents of nanny-statism.
Care to rant to me about my job again (which doesn’t have anything to do about politics but rather candles)?

"I simply turn on the Golden EIB Microphone and share my honest passions and beliefs with people. And they're free to go elsewhere. They're free to ignore; they're free to believe; they're free to be entertained, I don't care. They're free to do whatever they want. But a lot of people aren't free to smoke cigarettes where they want; they're not free to drink where they want; they're not free to eat the kind of food they want to eat; they're not free to eat trans fats; they're not free to drive certain places. Pretty soon we're going to be told what kind of cars we have to drive. I can't cause that. I can't restrict anybody's freedom. We've elected a guy who can, does, and wants to, all under the guise of saving us. So I appreciate the effort, and I appreciate somewhat losing my temper here. But don't compare me ever to an authoritarian who thinks so little of people that without him they can barely breathe on their own. Don't ever do that." LEARN IT, LOVE IT, LIVE IT! If one cannot understand Rush's words above, then one does not truly understand FREEDOM! |
