11 minutes of JD defending his Abramoff money, pork spending, and horse luvin'. Luckily it was only seen live by 367 people...none of whom live in AZ.

Realclearpolitics shows 3 media polls for the FL Senate nomination done in the last month. It's been a month and a half since we last had action in AZ. Rasmussen released a poll on Jan 20th showing McCain with 53% to JD's 31%. McCain released a poll a week later 59 to 30. Hayworth released a poll the same day showing McCain leading 49 to 33.

McCain has $27 million cash on hand. In 2004 McCain spent a little under $5 million to win with 77% of the vote. He can afford lots of very accurate internal polls. Clearly there would be no advantage for McCain to release polls showed him losing support. If McCain's internal polls show a gain he has no advantage in advertising it either. The last polls showed McCain trouncing JD...if JD is destroying himself, or McCain's attacks are not being countered, releasing that information is just warning JD and the rats.

The media would love to see that seat go to the rats. The rats are doing robocalls to 250,000 AZ voters and calling McCain a rich health care hypocrite, but they can't come up with a poll to breath life into JD's campaign and run their own Operation Chaos, because they know McCain has his polls. If JD is stalled and the media release a fake poll showing JD gaining ground there is still no reason for McCain to release the real numbers and warn JD to change tactics.

JD has no poll to offer and show any positive movement. It would most definitely be in JD's best interest to release a poll showing his campaign had some traction. The primary is Aug 24th. JD raised $100,000 in the last week...at $100,000 a week JD would have about $2 million raised by election day. JD spent 3 million to lose his rinky-dink congress seat in 2006.

Why in the world would any self respecting republican, especially J.D. Hayworth, go on *any* MSNBC freakshow, with a LeftiPerv host like Rachael Sicksow? The only thing he is likely to gain is a soupsong of STDs from sitting in the same chair that all her freaktard LeftiPerv guests sit in on a saily basis. and get lied to, condecended to, mocked, and lied about.

I think if ObamaCare passes, that will help J.D. The anti-incumbent rage will be worth 10 percentage points.

JD spent 3 million to lose his rinky-dink congress seat in 2006.

Be helpful to have that "rinky-dink" seat in GOP hands this week, wouldn't it?

JD's problem will be guilt by association...

Hayworth -> Abramoff -> Financial Scandals -> Losses in Retirement Accounts

May not be fair, but life is not fair and perception is the reality.

That’s a bad trade-off. Better NO 0bamacare (with death panels) and 6 more years of McQueeg. Limp Republicans and aisle-crossers brought us to this stage. 0bamacare MUST go down in flames or we are in big trouble. Nazi ‘rats like Pelosi are so fanatical to get this rammed down our throats. Pelousi, one of McQueegs good friends.

John Shadegg needs to step in at the last minute after McCain and Hayworth have destroyed each other and themselves.
It is the only way we will rid ourselves of McCain.
I do not believe Hayworth can take the nomination from McCain, and I never have.

JD's problem will be guilt by association.. That's what I was thinking when I read your tag line.. But Palin has endorsed McCain hasn't she... Instead of guilt by association it would be guilt by endorsing...

I looked at the video and J.D. just like he did with Matthews, left Maddow stumbling for answers.

McCain has no chance in a debate against Hayworth.

I don’t know. I do know that he has made it no secret that he’s interested in McCain’s seat (and not in an Eric Massa way.)
