Is it because she does not want to cross Juan?
Those are precisely questions I've considered often as I've read all those explanations over the past weeks.
Will supporting Juan's reelection pay the debt in full?
What if he decides to make another run at the presidency, will Sarah be expected to step aside out of loyalty? (And that is not outside the realm of possibility for Juan.)
Sarah owes McCain exactly nothing. He didn't pick her to help her career, but to help his anemic presidential campaign, and she did bring his campaign to life.
I've also wondered why Sarah has endorsed no one in Florida. Actually, all I know of is Juan, Rand Paul and Michelle Bachmann. I thought she had plans to be very active endorsing and campaigning for "commonsense conservatives".
She mentioned awhile back - she will only endorse where she is asked. You know McCain asked her after his failed attempt in ‘08 and when he saw how Americans reacted to Sarah.
