Really, what the hell is wrong with Hanks? He was just with Speilberg in a private party at the White House with Obama. But you see, if you are Speilberg or Hanks your favorite bad guys are Nazis— who in their world are right wing conservatives. The first time I went to S. Korea it was amazing to me how many of the older people still remembered the brutal occupation and rape of the Korean peninsula by the Japanese in the early 20th century. Aside from brutalizing the populace, the Japs utterly raped the land, essentially de-foresting the whole place. I wonder if Hanks would consider that "racism" by the other side? Or is there some excuse, like there is in this country whenever the issue of black racism comes up?
