No, blame John McCain. Any of the other candidates, even Mike Huckabee, had a chance against B.H. Obama. McCain had none, and he did not even try to win. Sarah Palin helped but could do only so much.

It never occurred to me that McCain and Cindy, the gray-haired and feeble version of Boris and Natasha, would make it to the White House. And nobody, not even Huckabee, pushed amnesty as McCain has done. He and perhaps also Lindsey Graham are obsessed with amnesty. It is like an addiction.

But you’re right, McCain didn’t fight. And his age, definitely hurt him.
