No, she wasn’t thrown under the bus. That expression implies someone who is innocent and is sacrificed for the Obamas’ careers. Desiree Rogers is a self-aggrandizing, ambitious woman of staggering vulgarity and presumption who got dazzled by the big-city lights. She thought she was far more sophisticated than she is.

"Under the bus"

Sacrifice for 0bama's career, yes. Innocent?! Absolutely not - e.g. Rev. Wright; Samantha Power; Van Jones; Anita Dunn; Tom Daschle; there are plenty more ...

of staggering vulgarity
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I wonder if it was Rogers who recommended that Michele wear a bright red cocktail dress to the posthumous award of the Medal of Honor to a fallen soldier's family? Did Rogers suggest that Michele wear bright turquoise to the Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington? What about the white mini-skirt with the bubble gum-like flowers when representing the U.S. in England?

(...Just wondering from where the vulgarity and poor taste originated?)

Honestly...Someone should tell Michele that being First Lady is most often **not** about her.
