No doubt there are more than a dozen lawsuits awaiting the bills final form. Maybe hundreds.
With this particular discussion of "how" the bill is being passed, I wonder if any of those will be for the "legislative process" of passing the bill (as is the complaint here with many). I mention that, because just yesteray, I was reading a thread from other FReepers that was saying that the courts don't get involved in the actual "legislative process" itself, being that they can do anything they want (actually) -- so I was wondering whether any of those cases would be on the "legislative process" -- that so many don't like (for how it's being passed).
The legislature cannot do “whatever it wants”, they must follow the constitution, the constitution requires a vote on all legislation, they can’t just declare something as passed.
