LOL. It is probably for the best that I’ve gotten myself kicked out of NM politics. If I spent the summer campaigning for Pearce or Barela, I mighta gotten lost in the mountains and eaten by bobcats. They eat city slickers real quick.
It’s a barely understandable world for families who have been here 400 years.
Yes, we have hanta virus, boubonic plague, rattlesnakes, gila monsters, several varieties of poison insects and spiders, bobcats, coyotes, cougars, wolves, bears, and in the south an occasional jaguar.
But the locals are the mean ones.
