A well-connected Washington figure, who is close to members of Mr Obama's inner circle, expressed concern that Mr Obama had failed so far to "even fake an interest in foreign policy". National security lapses, national debt up to the eyeballs and drowning our children and grandchildren's futures, job loss a horrendous problem with companies fearful to hire in this economy and not knowing what taxes or penalties this administration will yet compel them to pay, while putting our allies on the backburner and bowing to dictators, priorities are backwards and sideways - all for a healthcare legacy? It makes no sense at all, especially since existing healthcare problems have not yet been put to test such as fraud, errors, and tort reform.
Any politician connected with it best think twice about the multitude of destructive rammifications attached to Obama's folly. States are already beginning to opt out of it and litigations will abound if they enact it (whether in the middle of night in their usual shady manner or by some other devious underhanded manner).

the president was facing exhaustion over America's economic crisis and is unable to focus on foreign affairsSo basically, he is unfit for the office of President.

Allies of Mr Obama say his weary appearance in the Oval Office with Mr Brown illustrates the strain he is now under, and the president's surprise at the sheer volume of business that crosses his desk. His surprise at the volume of business that crosses his desk? Did he really have no clue as to what being President entails? Do America a favor and resign now so that we can get someone who is not surprised about what it takes to act as President.

Once again we get the truth from the overseas press.
The Adolescent-in-Chief is too busy partying with the likes of Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks to even pretend to bother with the head of state of our closest ally.
This is an outrage!

shameful.
Thankfully, the world will very soon return the sentiment.
He can jet here and there to speak, but can't extend courtesy to other world leaders, of whom he is the least.
shameful.

Some of this is old news, toward the end of the article. Obama deserves a ton of criticism and he’s in way over his head and ability level, but the Telegraph shouldn’t be re-running old news about him having to rush back from dinner to attend to business or looking like he needs a cigarette.
IMO.

I’m kinda glad this take is seeing print.
As utterly disasterous as Obama’s foreign policy has been, I think I’d rather, choosing among evils, have our enemies (and our friends) think that we are rudderless, rather than that any of this is a matter of American intent.
