San Diego Shaken By Moderate Earthquake (4.2)

SAN DIEGO (CBS 5 / AP) ― A moderate earthquake has shaken a section of the Laguna Mountains in central San Diego County and there are no reports of damage or injuries.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 4.2 quake hit at 8:32 a.m. near Mount Laguna, about 14 miles south-southeast of Julian.

One hit right off the coast of O’side when I lived there. It was the middle of the night. I was out of bed and on my feet before my eyes were even opened. You can hear rumbling and everything rattles.

Is the red line heading north from the star - the San Andreas fault ..??

I thought it was closer to the coast .. so I’m curious what fault line that is.

That is a fault line but the San Andreas is actually east(inland) from there.
