I would figure that the writ of mandamus that Mark just mentioned would have to come from the SCOTUS, I wonder what the standing requirements are to bring that request? Any US citizen? could be very interesting...
Hmmmm, took a quick poke around, I couldn’t find any history of the SCOTUS issuing a writ of mandamus to any other entity other than an inferior court. I will have to keep looking.
