“From the Earth to the Moon” was fantastic and I was always glad Tom was a space enthusiast. Now he sounds like an idiot.

For years the left was screeching that Iraq was an immoral war because they never attacked us, etc. But we WERE attacked by Japan, and now he says the only reason we fought them is because they are different? These elitists are almost laughable. Too bad they have such influence.

Obviously I and almost all on this board disagree with Hanks and Spielberg on post-WWII foreign and defense policy. In that regard they are conventional Hollywood liberals who run with their herd.

I do, however, give them credit for the way they have honored the WWII vets. I just disagree with them that WWII was the last "good" war.
