I agree with Glenn. Bring all our troops home and make a statement and take a stand. The world will understand completely. It’s time for the rest of the world to take care of themselves. Along with that, stop sending our tax dollars to other countries. If we can’t take care of ourselves, we can’t help others.

I agree. If you have an earthquake, I’m sorry but we’ll fly in supplies and you are on your own. We are great at raising money for good causes but you can take it from there. Have an uprising, gee I’m sorry but you are on your own. We had a tough time when our country was founded but it made us tough...So put on your big girl panties and deal with it. We have!!

...stop sending out tax dollars to other countries....

Amen. We tax ourselves and send about $50 billion overseas as "foreign aid."

Remember a couple of years ago when the pro-immigrant people in California had a "Day with a Mexican"? Well we should let the world have "A year with US foreign aid." Not a dime. Let the rest of the world, that is so quick to criticize, step in and take up the slack. Right now we are having to borrow this money from China. Let China made its donations directly, leave us out of it, and we get to avoid paying interest on it.
