If you are Jewish and at least somewhat religious, consider Yeshiva University. Very strong academics, and the best religious background available in Modern Orthodoxy. A lot of the kids attending have already gotten the message that liberals hate them, and have reacted accordingly.

Colorado Christian University in Denver is a gem. I have one child starting there this fall and possibly another a year later. NCAA div II athletics, fabulous academics and unabashedly Christian (not liberal anything goes Christianity either)

As a citizen of Massachusetts, a state that proudly proclaims itself a world-class center of learning, I am ashamed that not a single Mass. school is listed here....not a single one.
