If they didn't want to take orders from DC, they shouldn't have ratified the Constitution, with its supremacy clause, its unaccountable judiciary, its implied powers.

We are one state, with the old states being mere agencies or departments of that national state. "To the republic, for which it stands." Not to the republics. Or to the union. To the republic. Singular. That's the problem.

Health care is not a *right*. No where in the Constitution does it say the Federal Gov’t can FORCE us to buy ANYTHING.

Individual states are finally getting it.

As I see it...”To the republic, for which it stands” means “for which it stands” UNDER THE CONSTITUTION.

Of course, the federal gov’t will tell me that they know what’s better for me. (sigh)
