From last summer to this spring, this has been one heck of a ride. I'd find it great theater, except that I have to live with the results.

Yes, I just checked and the article is still on Drudge, from Bloomberg. It says that they cannot change the bill until it is passed. So, what’s up?

I have no idea! I don't keep up on this as well as many and am always hesitant to make forceful comments, lol. Like you, I read that today and thought, ‘great’, then come here and it's a whole different story??
I also heard on FOX this afternoon that nothing would be done on the health care until Obama returns from some trip because he has to sign the bill before it can be changed in anyway. I was only half listening, but I think that they said that they were going to try to get the house to pass the bill and then give 72 hours for everyone to discuss the changes and vote again, but that Pelosi did not yet have the votes.
Good question.
