Ah, thank you ... it didn't even occur to me that duh, he's gone, no more jurisdiction. Consider me doinked!!

Sorry, vision, typed it all out for naught. But CharlesWayne is right, it's akin to Tom Foley (former speaker, not Mark Foley, they other guy involved with creepy shenanigans).

NO, it was Mark Foley, creepy intern guy. He resigned, but the democrats pushed for an investigation into when the leadership knew of the allegations, and how they handled it.

Just like the REpublicans here, the democrats then made a big deal out of the possibility that interns were at risk from Foley because the leadership didn’t start the investigation.

The only difference so far is that Foley appears to have been innocent of the charges about coming on to interns while they were employed.
