He went on Beck’s show and didn’t really say much of anything that we don’t already know. Sounds like he told Beck that he was going to expose some real dirt on congress but gave up nothing.
The next day the ethics investigation was dropped.
We got more about the way things work re: leaning on House members, votes and such, from Eric Fingerhut back in 1993, two-term Dem from Ohio who had the Dem machine work to defeat him in 94 (they succeeded) in part because he was a member of the bi-partisan Penny-Kasich gang. I was yelling at the TV when Massa starts with the "We need campaign finance reform" baloney, what a maroon. His performance with Beck, especially having Glenn tell us what was being said during commercial breaks, in the court of my private opinion, this guy is guilty as all get-out, a real creepy creep.

That's why I got the story incorrect in my re-tell, the timing of it, as I said, it didn't occur to me that with or without the appearances, any other media spots, the House would drop it due to his resignation.
