Your daddy missed the mark on this advice. I would never tell my child that they need to show they are proud of being a perverse individual. That’s just wrong.

This part of the "self-esteem" training many schools push on kids where they should be proud of themselves regardless of their achievements or lack thereof. This girl is being raised to be a narcissist who cares only for herself!
