Neils incredible cool under pressure landing the LEM. Just amazing. In 1966 I met Neil Armstrong at a glider pilots social gathering, and only having heard that "he worked for NASA", I offered him some free advice on weather flying. "Yeah, that even scares me, and I'm supposed to be fearless!" he replied.

Neat. What a great memory.
Neil also held records for the X-15. The X-15 set the world’s unoffical speed and altitude records of 4,520 mph and 354,200 feet. Most people do not remember that Neil was a Navy pilot with 78 combat missions in Korea.
