Actually, I happened to listen to most of his show today and heard that call. IMO, the man sounded as if he might be trying to lead or provoke Rush into saying something "quotable". Rush is too wise and media savvy to make an impulsive comment that Behar could milk for ratings. Instead he referred to Behar as "Maude" and deftly changed the tone of the call and robbed Behar of the amunition to keep the non-story going.
Oh, a minor correction about Campbell Brown. She is originally from Louisiana and her parents still live here. Campbell Brown is her real name and as far as I know she has never been called Paula. She was named after her maternal grandmother and her mother. Her father, a democrat, held several elective offices and did a brief stint in federal prison for lying to the FBI during an investigation.
Minor correction deserved. No way was she called Paula. A slip up, looks like a sister of mine.
