Now is the time to let Congress critters know our displeasure with the current income tax code on line if you can't make it to Washington D.C. on April 15th! Registration is free.

I'm with ya, however it shouldn't come to taxation before loss of personal freedom to government is considered concerning.

There's so much already lost by the time that point is reached.

Hey look, people are bailing on their houses that they owe more than the place is worth, with Congress bailing them out and giving their tacit blessing.

Same logic these people could just say screw the government and stop paying their taxes. They’re being milked for a ton of money and what are they getting for it? Nothing. Just wealth transfer to people who didn’t earn it. Politicians who are not governing responsibly and just looking at people like wallets.

“For many Americans the distance between what they believe is best for the nation and what government actually does has become an infuriating chasm...”

IRS employees live in every neighborhood in America. Note where they live and act accordingly when they ask for extra bucks to support the fascist state in DC.

If obama care passes, taxes will be the least of our worries.

One day, in the not so distant future, Americans may select "10" exemptions on their W-4. When that day happens (even if they don't have 10 exemptions), the federal government won't be able to pay interest on the debt. China, et. al. will force us into a form of "bankruptcy."

When you really think about it, it might be the only way we can save ourselves.

Why? Almost half the nation isn’t paying taxes. Ya think they’re going to revolt against a system allows the Feds to rob others on their behalf or allow a system (like the Fair Tax) to be instituted that might actually force them to pay something approaching their fair share of taxes?

Its just wishful thinking.
