If our unions would negotiate for the same dollar-a-day wage & benefit packages that China forces on its slave-laborers, we’d be able to keep our jobs here in the US ?

No- that's exactly the point. By opening up our borders and tearing down trade barriers, American workers are left out in the cold.

Of course American workers can't keep their jobs....now, lessee...where did all this get started??
