0bama was the last hurrah for the state-run media’s ability to throw an election.
Anybody remember “Under my plan, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket”? Anybody remember “If you want to build a coal fired electric plant, OK, but with the fees you’re going to go bankrupt.” Or how about “Americans can’t keep using 25% of the world’s resources and expect the rest of the world to say OK.”
No? Well, he said all of those things, and he should have been beaten over the head with them over and over again. I knew what they meant, but 52% of voters must have been in some kind of trance. Only now some of them are starting to snap out of it.
