Expect to see more minarets punctuating our West Coast skyline in decades to come.
Muslims are on target to make up half of the country's expanding non-Christian religious population by 2031.
Metro Vancouver will be home to more than 230,000 Muslims within two decades, compared to 72,000 now.
The projected rapid growth of Islam in Canada might paint a controversial scenario for some people. -- that Europe will be almost dominated by Muslims by 2040, with some fear-mongers claiming the continent should be renamed "Eurabia."
Such worries -- that European Christianity is on the defensive and that waves of Muslim immigrants to the continent have higher birthrates -- contributed last year to Swiss voters deciding to ban the construction of new minarets on mosques.

We need to ban all Muslim immigration now. So does Canada. Unfortunately, the Islamicization of America is just what our Muslim Marxist president wants.
“Fear mongers” call it Eurabia. Muslims have their own name for it!
...I’ll be surprised if the Chinese and other Asians in Vancouver put up with them...mainland China has taken a hard line position(executions)against Islamic encroachment and terror in their western borders.
just imagine watching hockey in 2031....
“Canucks penalty to number 62, Jihad al-Mowad al-Husseni Mohammed, Two Minutes for Beheading. Time of the penalty 9:42. al-Mowad al-Husseni Mohammed, Two Minutes for Beheading at 9:42...”
“Ill be surprised if the Chinese and other Asians in Vancouver put up with them”
And people from India. Vancouver has a huge population of Indians.
and the Indian population includes a large number of Sikhs, who are very tough customers and who are not at all happy with the Muslims these days.
Vancouver should become the PIG capital of Canada. Open pig farms, pig processing plants, buy pet pigs and walk them like dogs, hang hot dogs like tinsel, etc.
Horrible. Allowing a permanent beachhead for terrorist cells.
