Actually, there is a "key". The key fob (that operates the remote lock/unlock) slides into a slot underneath the big push-button on/off switch.

If what you and others are saying is correct, that there is is no mechanical connection in the ignition loop and everything is controlled by computer, that's a d@mn good reason not to buy such a vehicle!!!

Trust your life to a computer? NO WAY!!
