Glenn was greatly frustrated because he could not get specifics from Massa that "affects you". Glenn apologized to his audience for "wasting your time".

Beck should have done the interview pre-recorded and screened out the BS. He got taken on this one.

The Interview was Contrived.
Did anyone really think Massa would sing about the Chicago Combine on TV? Rezko decided he'd rather sit in jail, Blago decided he would rather go down as a sleaze ball, Burris decided to pack his bags and go home, NY’s “when I'm dead I'll abandon my campaign” Patterson caved in.
Beck got a totally predictable backpedaling guest.
If Beck expected anything else he's not the person people think he is!

What should he have asked?

1. Massa was a first-time Congressman, first elected in 2008. Who picked him to run? What did they have on him before they selected him?

2. Do they (i.e. the Naked Rahmer et al) have a dossier on every new Democratic representative?

3. How much would it have cost to lawyer-up and stay in the House?

The real ‘behind the scenes’ will be on Beck’s Extreme tomorrow. We’ll see what said to Massa during the commercials. Sometimes GB’s style is a bit over the top, but I hardly think he’s losing it-if only I had taken my retirement funds out of the stock market when he first warned us.....He’s my #2 radio guy...nobody beats Rush...

It was pointless because Glen does not know how to conduct an interview. It is his job to control the questions and the direction of the discussion. He was simply at a loss of what to ask and how to ask probing questions of Massa. Glen essentially just sat down and said, “okay, whattaya got?”

Glen should stick to what he is best at and not try to be a probing investigative interviewer. He just simply does not have the training nor experience.

I agree. I'm a Beck fan, but I think he should stick to "teaching" instead of interviewing. His interview with Massa today, and the one with Sarah Palin a few months ago were both dreadful, and a waste of time.
