I do not scream. Ladies don’t. I do agree with you about her advisors. I have questioned their wisdom repeatedly but I think Sarah is in charge of what she does. And I admire that.What you call a misstep...is not a misstep according to her. She believes what she believes in and acts accordingly. Though I have been clear I would not vote for her, I do admire her for this.She is not going to change because of the opinion of those on the right. I do not want a politician who changes according to others opinions. She is not going to be swayed by what you or I think. And that is a good thing. In my opinion.
Well, I also admire the fact that she doesn’t change-—especially since USUALLY this means she’s right. But it also means that, in the case of this McCain stuff, she won’t admit a mistake. I’m not “down” on Palin, but unlike some here on FR, I’m not uncritical. I’ve yet to see her consistently do the politically smart things it takes to win a national election-—she can come close, but so far her moves don’t add up to victory. But she has a couple of years to fix that.
