The same with me, that’s why I recognized it for what it was. I think it was a Drudge advertisor or something like that. What I experienced was real, not some dem trick, IMHO people are really overreacting.

For the skeptics, I check Drudge about 4 times a day, I experienced a simliar problem a few years ago, when it happened this time I knew what it was. I’m not a techno-geek in any sort of fashion, but this did happen yesterday afternoon and the government put out a “temporary warning” because something was actually happening.

Sorry to rain on all of y’all’s parade, but sometimes paranoids are right :).

Oh, I don’t doubt that there was a problem, but it was either caused by Obama’s stooges, or possibly by leftists who were operating independently.

Much the same thing happened a while back on Orly Taitz’s website. She posted a Kenyan birth certificate that she said was Obama’s, and about the same time her site was infected with various bugs. And then Google started warning people away from her site even after the bugs were gone.

I think Drudge probably has some really good tech people working for him. His site is usually fast despite the tremendous load of visitors it gets. So when it’s attacked, it’s quickly fixed. But no one can prevent attacks if hackers are determined enough.

Drudge has become one of Obama’s most influential critics, right up there with Rush and Fox. So it’s not surprising that they would go after him. Send a bug, then publicize it and warn everyone to stay clear.
