Actually, I did get a virus warning Monday afternoon while I was on Drudge’s web site. Typical trojan “clilck here to eliminate viruses” warning, I’ve seen it before, IOW an invitation to accept a virus. Immediately exited and activated Norton which eliminated the threat. Later I had no problem accessing Drudge.
I haven’t had any trouble with Drudge for a long time. A number of years ago, some advertisers—I think AdClick among them— used to try to put spyware on your computer, and the ads on Drudge did that, as they did everywhere else until people got sick of it and revolted against the ads.
But it’s not impossible that hackers managed to plant something on Drudge for a short while. I’m sure Obama & Co. have plenty of hackers they can call on to do these things.
