Feral dogs and cats will eat the stomachs and intestines of their prey. That includes eating the contents thereof.

My feral friend "Half-a-Cat" leaves little more than a few bits of fur from her mice/voles/etc, and eats insects whole.

Yeah, most mammals and birds bodies don’t mind eating piles and piles of germ-laden stuff. They snarf down that road kill no matter how fresh or how old it is.
