They already do this to you if you dare to go into a courthouse. I think they should put a sign over courthouses and the US Senate building saying "Abandon all rights, Ye who enter these gates".

I am curious, do you think that the two instances Getting on a plane and and auto parts store are the same?
Can you not see why extra security and checks would need to be made at a court house?
I don’t think that the TSA is doing things right. I am all in favor of profiling. It would cut back on the stupid handling of cases like the ones mentioned in this article.
But I think that because we are in a war (even though the government doesn’t seem to think so - unless it is against us) steps have to be taken to ensure that flights can not be taken over as they were on 9/11. I am not saying that the government is doing it right, by far. But I can see how proper use of screening can be done that some people will balk at anyway.
